Provide Partners with Unibright to Create First Baseline Toolset for Enterprise Blockchain

Blockchain innovators Provide and Unibright team up outside the Baseline Protocol Initiative to produce integrated no-code, low-touch devops toolset for blockchain based on emerging standards.

Provide is partnering with Unibright to create the enterprise benchmark for an easy to use, seamless devops experience for managing the blockchain application lifecycle. The two companies joined forces and continue work to form the new standards for enterprise blockchain integration by way of the Baseline Protocol Initiative. The combined toolset is currently the most accessible way for enterprises to build and deploy baseline-compliant solutions while ensuring those solutions follow future best practices set by the flagship blockchain standards initiative from OASIS.

Unibright will be offering dedicated, visually customizable templates within the Unibright Workflow Designer to support baselined business processes. All necessary objects like contracts, mappings and connection adapters are then generated automatically by the Unibright Framework. These objects can then be deployed by Provide’s orchestration services. By deploying through Provide, these objects automatically will generate RESTful APIs and be exposed to core services for key management, identity, payments and secure messaging via Provide’s blockchain integration fabric, Shuttle.

Provide and Unibright teamed up through their work on integrating procurement processes across a supply chain using the baseline integration techniques to allow disparate SAP and Microsoft Dynamics ERP systems to work in sync. The proof of concept integration proves how the public Ethereum Mainnet can be used as an always-on, tamper-resistant, low cost integration fabric. The protocol ensures the integrity of complex, confidential workflows between enterprises without moving company data out of traditional systems of record.Marten Jung, founder and CEO of Unibright states:

“Enterprises are always hampered adopting emerging technologies early by their hard requirements to solve for complexity and scale. Our work with Provide will help eliminate complexity from the blockchain application lifecycle, and build baselined ecosystem sized solutions that are substantially safer than their predecessors. The availability of these tools and standards is a huge milestone for enterprise adoption of blockchain technology we are all very much looking forward to.”

Kyle Thomas, founder and CEO of Provide adds:

“Unibright and Provide share the vision to help organizations get to market faster with blockchain-based solutions. Our collaboration with Unibright to baseline SAP and Microsoft Dynamics showed us how complementary our tools are to execute that shared vision. The combined capabilities of our respective offerings will unlock an extraordinary amount of productivity and ecosystem benefits for organizations of all sizes."

Chainlink Integration with SAP via PRVD

Provide's very own Ryan Fleischmann has submitted our entry to the Chainlink Fall 2022 Hackathon. Our submission integrates Chainlink price feeds into the SAP S/4 HANA enterprise resource planning system - the #1 ERP system used by Fortune 500 businesses and other global organizations for finance, supply chain and other business processes. In so few words - we used Chainlink price feeds to update the foreign currency rates in SAP. This effort showcases the maturity level of the PRVD stack (the BRI-1 implementation of the Baseline Protocol).
