- PRVG is an ERC-20 token on the public Ethereum mainnet, has become the "Privilege" token. It functions as a gas token for the Layer 3 provide.network where it is required as payment to the network for broadcasting transactions and the associated compute.
How is PRVG used?
- 🔥 PRVG is the native gas token for the Layer 3 provide.network, a public-permissionless zkSync enterprise integration rollup.
🔥 Provide Payments supports PRVG to enable traditional enterprise procurement of public blockchain services without the need for customers to ever buy or hold cryptocurrency.
🔥 Provide Payments exposes a Managed Transactions API which calculates the amount of PRVD needed to cover arbitrary transaction costs at runtime (i.e., gas for broadcasting the transaction and completing any associated compute) based on the current exchange rate of PRVG on Uniswap.
🔥 A custodial wallet managed within our commercially-supported Vault service is used to sign and fund transactions which are broadcast by Provide Payments on behalf of API users.
